Video Inspo: Square Pegs by Made by Dyslexia

Made By Dyslexia highlights the need for dyslexia empowerment and education in the classroom.

An unmistakable voice that my ears could listen to for hours. ✔️

A simple, repetitive pattern that is easy to interpret. ✔️

Wonderful sound design that adds little jolts and anomalies that keep me engaged. ✔️

This new promotional video created by Made By Dyslexia highlights the need for dyslexia empowerment and education in the classroom. The 70-second-long video aims to spread awareness that only one in 10 teachers across the globe understands the nature of dyslexia.

The ad, titled ‘Square Pegs,’ features the soothing voice of Oscar-winning English actor Jeremy Irons calling for a reshaping of how we educate kids to empower Dyslexic thinking.

The voiceover paired with visuals of round holes in everyday objects plays on the "square peg, round hole" idiomatic expression to describe someone who doesn't fit in a particular place or situation

This is part of a wider campaign to encourage governments, teachers, and schools to take part in free online training featuring Dyslexia experts from world-leading schools.
